For over 30 years the Thaxted Fayre Trust has been bringing the community of Thaxted together through fund raising and entertaining events.

The Thaxted Fayre Trust is a registered charity set up back in 1986 by Barry Kauffman-Wright and then Swan Inn Pub Landlord, for the sole purpose of organising community events in order to raise funds for distribution via community grants, supporting local community based projects.

Our trustees and committee members  are simply willing local volunteers from the Thaxted Community.

Our vision is to bring back the Thaxted Fayres of yesterday year and continue bringing the community together through fundraising whilst giving back to local projects.
